As artists, we are typically known for what we do/generate/make. It is not just what we do, but it also is a main element of who we are.  If we are not making, if we are not developing, if we are not sketching, preparing, or exploring…then we are neglecting a main aspect of ourselves.  I will be the first to acknowledge, as an art educator…I frequently neglect this component of my daily life.  I justify it since I teach artwork all day prolonged.  The only thing about that…there is a difference.  Challenging, nurturing, arranging, and instructing is not the exact as using time out of my working day to create my individual artwork.  Art is like a language for the artist.  We process, interpret, and share our desires, ideas, views of the globe (both equally bodily & socially), and beliefs as we build.  If we do not take time/make time for possess individual art generating, we deny ourselves of residing the lifestyle we had been created to live.   We ought to get time/make time to be who we are!
